The AITTA Jakarta Travel Mart (AJTM) is a Business-to-Business (B2B) event designed to facilitate a vibrant marketplace for tourism industry stakeholders, targeting both domestic and international markets. After being successfully held for four consecutive years since 2016 and gaining strong anticipation from industry players - particularly in Jakarta - the event returned in 2022 and 2023 following a hiatus during the 2020–2021 period due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2025, AJTM continues in the form of a B2B Table-Top event.

AJTM not only facilitates the exchange of tourist destination packages between Buyers and Sellers, but also serves as a platform to introduce and promote Betawi cultural icons to participating Sellers, both domestic and international. This event significantly supports the dissemination program initiated by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Tourism and Culture Office to promote Betawi cultural heritage among tourism industry stakeholders and players.
AJTM serves as a highly strategic and ideal platform for promoting year-end holiday travel packages to popular destinations for both Indonesian and international tourists. With the growing number of middle-class tourists in Jakarta who possess strong purchasing power, interest in traveling across Indonesia - particularly during weekends and the year-end holiday season - is expected to increase. This makes AJTM a significant event that should not be missed.
One of AJTM’s key roles is to promote and showcase Indonesia’s diverse tourist destinations to both domestic and international audiences, highlighting the natural beauty found across the archipelago. This includes popular destinations such as Bandung, Bali, Jakarta, the Riau Islands, Joglosemar (Jogya-Solo-semarang), the stunning coral reefs of Bunaken and Raja Ampat, as well as Medan, Makassar, and Banyuwangi.

Additionally, AJTM features other notable tourism areas, particularly the 10 “New Bali” destinations launched by the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism: Lake Toba (North Sumatra), Belitung (Bangka Belitung), Tanjung Lesung (Banten), the Thousand Islands (DKI Jakarta), Borobudur Temple (Central Java), Mount Bromo (East Java), Mandalika Lombok (West Nusa Tenggara), Komodo Island (East Nusa Tenggara), Wakatobi (Southeast Sulawesi), and Morotai (North Maluku). This effort is part of a broader initiative to support and promote the Indonesian tourism program.
